Global Funding for UN-Aligned Sustainability Goals
OpenText is committed to responsible corporate citizenship and advancing a future that is both sustainable and inclusive. Through its Corporate Giving Program, OpenText directs funding to registered charities that align with six priority sustainability goals inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
OpenText’s guiding principle is to think globally and act locally, investing in the communities where employees live and work to create meaningful global impact.

Funding Priorities
OpenText Corporate Giving supports organizations addressing one or more of the following six Sustainability Goals:
- Zero Hunger
- Good Health and Well-Being
- Quality Education
- Gender Equality
- Reduced Inequalities
- Climate Action
OpenText may also support disaster recovery and socio-economic relief efforts when needed.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for funding, organizations must:
- Be a registered charity in their country
- Operate globally or provide direct services near an OpenText office
- Demonstrate alignment with at least one of the six Sustainability Goals
- Provide audited financial statements upon request
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
OpenText does not fund organizations that discriminate on protected characteristics but may support organizations assisting communities that have experienced discrimination.
Ineligible Requests
OpenText will not fund:
- Individuals
- Political organizations or candidates
- For-profit entities
- Advocacy or lobbying groups
- Debt-reduction campaigns
- Non-registered charities
- Conference travel or event-related expenses
- Organizations identified as fraudulent
Funding may not be used to promote violence, terrorism, or bigotry, nor may recipients subgrant funds to entities engaged in such activities.
