Peach State Federal Credit Union supports charitable organizations, schools, community initiatives, and the arts through sponsorships and donations distributed across its service area.

Through the Peach State FCU C.A.R.E.S. Foundation, the credit union reinvests in communities throughout its footprint. Preference is given to organizations that align with Peach State’s Giving Policy and its five Cornerstones of Citizenship: Community, Arts, Responsibility, Education, and Service.

About the Funder

Peach State Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution serving more than 70,000 members throughout Georgia and South Carolina.

The credit union established the Peach State FCU C.A.R.E.S. Foundation in 2021 to support communities across its service area. Each year, Peach State contributes time, materials, and money to organizations working within its footprint.

The foundation supports local nonprofits, school systems, the arts, food banks, scholarships, and other community needs.

What This Program Supports

Peach State reinvests directly in its communities through donations to charitable organizations and support for the arts and education.

Preference is given to organizations that align with the credit union’s five Cornerstones of Citizenship:

Community

Organizations and initiatives that strengthen local communities and improve quality of life.

Arts

Programs and organizations that expand access to and support for arts and cultural activities.

Responsibility

Initiatives that demonstrate a commitment to responsible citizenship and positive community impact.

Education

Schools, educational organizations, scholarships, and programs that support learning and educational opportunity.

Service

Organizations and initiatives that provide direct assistance and meaningful service to people and communities.

Eligible Support Types

Peach State may provide:

  • Charitable donations
  • Event and organizational sponsorships
  • Support for nonprofit organizations
  • Support for schools and educational initiatives
  • Support for arts organizations and programs
  • In-kind contributions and materials

Eligibility & Geographic Focus

Requests for sponsorship should be located within Peach State FCU’s Field of Membership.

Peach State serves eligible individuals, organizations, schools, and Select Employee Groups throughout Georgia and South Carolina.

Its geographic field of membership includes people who live, work, worship, or attend school in the following counties:

Georgia

  • Chattooga County
  • Clarke County
  • Habersham County
  • Richmond County

South Carolina

  • Abbeville County
  • Aiken County
  • Edgefield County
  • Greenwood County
  • McCormick County
  • Oconee County
  • Pickens County

Peach State also serves numerous schools, employers, organizations, and Select Employee Groups throughout Georgia and South Carolina. Applicants should review the full Peach State FCU membership eligibility information to determine whether their organization or community falls within the credit union’s footprint.

Recipients are selected by Peach State staff and volunteer leadership. The credit union seeks to distribute support equitably throughout its service area while prioritizing organizations that best align with its Giving Policy and community responsibility priorities.

Ineligible Requests

Peach State will not provide sponsorships to:

  • Individuals
  • Political candidates
  • Individual sports teams or organizations

Funding Amounts

Peach State Federal Credit Union does not publish standard donation or sponsorship amounts.

Award sizes vary based on the request, community need, alignment with the Giving Policy, and available resources.

Timeline & Review

📅 Required Lead Time: Submit at least 30 days before any print or payment deadline
📅 Review Process: Requests must be reviewed and approved before support is provided

Organizations should build sufficient time into their planning and submit requests well in advance of event, advertising, printing, or payment deadlines.

Application / Request Process

Organizations seeking a donation or sponsorship must complete the online Sponsorship and Donation Request Form.

Applicants should provide sufficient information about:

  • The requesting organization
  • The community being served
  • The event, program, or initiative
  • The type of support requested
  • Relevant deadlines
  • How the request aligns with Peach State’s community priorities

Peach State will contact applicants after the request has been reviewed.
