2 Min Read

Local Nonprofit Partnerships, In-Kind Donations & Fundraising Collaborations

Peddler’s Village is a family-owned community partner that supports charitable organizations, local nonprofits, and schools through partnerships, in-kind donations, and collaborative fundraising events. The Village aims to strengthen the community that has supported it for over 60 years.

Organization: Peddler’s Village
Support Type: Non-cash contributions (gift certificates), nonprofit partnerships, restaurant fundraising events
Application Link: https://www.peddlersvillage.com/contact-us/donations/
Geographic Focus: Local community (Canton, OH area and surrounding region)

About the Funder

Peddler’s Village and its hospitality venues (including Buttonwood Grill, Earl’s New American, Cock n’ Bull, Hart’s Tavern, Red Fox Lounge, and Peddler’s Pub) partner with local organizations throughout the year to support community needs. The business also engages employees and customers in giving back through coordinated initiatives.

Community Partnerships

Each year, Peddler’s Village partners with select charitable organizations to raise awareness and funds. Past and ongoing partners have included (among others):

  • Autism Cares Foundation
  • Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer
  • Bucks County Housing Group
  • Bucks County SPCA
  • Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
  • Main Street
  • United Way of Bucks County (Fresh Connect & Stuff the Bus)
  • WHYY

Organizations interested in future partnerships are invited to share information via the online portal.

Donations to Local Nonprofits

Peddler’s Village receives hundreds of donation requests monthly. To support as many causes as possible while managing limited resources, the Village offers gift certificate donations rather than cash contributions. Approximately 10% of requests are granted.

Donation Evaluation Factors:

  • Verifiable nonprofit status
  • Proximity and connection to Peddler’s Village
  • Local community impact
  • Number of people served or benefiting
  • Monthly balance of requests supporting children/families, health, or cultural institutions

Requests are prioritized monthly and reviewed with fairness and care.

Restaurant Fundraising Collaborations

Peddler’s Village also offers the opportunity for nonprofit fundraising events at its restaurants. Participating venues may give 10% of proceeds back to a nonprofit group. Interested organizations should contact the Hospitality Center at 215-794-4051 for details.
