Sarris Candies supports local organizations that make a positive impact in their communities. Through in-kind product donations, the company helps schools, nonprofits, and community groups enhance fundraising efforts and community programs.
Since 1960, Sarris Candies has been committed to “Sweetening Lives” through community engagement and charitable support.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for a donation, organizations must:
- Be located within Sarris Candies’ primary service regions (PA, OH, WV, and surrounding areas)
- Typically participate in one of Sarris Candies’ fundraising programs
- Submit only one request per calendar year
- Request donations for fundraising events, charity auctions, or community programs aligned with company values
Note: Monetary donation requests are not accepted.
Submission Guidelines
- Requests must be submitted at least 6 weeks prior to the event date
- Requests must be submitted through the online donation request form on the Sarris Candies website
- Mail, phone, or email submissions will not be accepted
- Incomplete forms will not be considered
If you do not receive an email confirmation of approval, your request did not meet eligibility criteria.
Review Process
- Requests are reviewed weekly by the Donations Committee
- Approved organizations are notified within one week
- Approved donations must be picked up at the Canonsburg, PA location
Exclusions
Sarris Candies does not provide donations for:
- Individuals or personal fundraisers
- Events outside the geographic focus area
- Competitions, golf outings, recognition events, holiday parties, door prizes, giveaways, or incentive programs
- Sponsorships for individuals or teams (walk-a-thons, contests, pageants, scholarships, reunions, ambassador programs)
- Donations for families or individual causes
