Geographic Eligibility

Organizations and/or projects must be located in a geographic region where Saulsbury has office locations and/or major projects, including:

  • Odessa, TX (Corporate Headquarters)
  • Abilene, TX
  • Houston, TX
  • Port Arthur, TX
  • Corpus Christi, TX
  • Henderson, TX (Fabrication Facility)
  • Carlsbad, NM
  • Tulsa, OK
  • Bismarck, ND
  • Williston, ND

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for funding, applicants must:

  • Hold 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status
  • Submit a request aligned with one of Saulsbury’s focus areas
  • Be located in a region where Saulsbury operates
  • Submit a written request (no phone solicitations)

Requests must include:

  • Funding amount requested
  • Description of the organization
  • Explanation of how funds will be used
  • Timeline for funding and project implementation
  • Evidence of tax-exempt status
  • Project budget and list of additional funders

Ineligible Requests

Saulsbury does not fund:

  • Individuals or groups acting on behalf of individuals
  • For-profit organizations
  • Advertising initiatives
  • Political organizations
  • Religious organizations
  • Operational support for United Way-funded agencies
  • Athletic teams, fraternal orders, labor associations, and similar groups

Timeline & Review

📅 Review Schedule: Quarterly
📅 Submission Type: Written requests only (no telephone solicitations)
📅 Decision Process: Corporate Contributions Committee review

Applicants are encouraged to submit well in advance of project start dates to align with the quarterly review cycle.
