Eligibility Requirements

To be considered, organizations must:

Be a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit in good standing with the IRS
Operate within one of BAE Systems’ mission areas
Demonstrate a Charity Navigator (or equivalent) 3-star rating or higher
- Unrated organizations may be asked to provide additional information on financial and organizational health
Submit audited financial statements or a financial review for requests over $10,000

Ineligible Organizations & Requests

BAE Systems does not support:

For-profit businesses
Political candidates or political organizations
Organizations whose values conflict with BAE Systems’ cultural principles
Organizations that discriminate against protected classes

Ineligible requests include:

Capital campaigns
Memorials or endowments
Scholarships, fellowships, or grants to individuals or families
Individual schools or school-based programs
Athletic events or teams

Application & Review Process

Community investments are managed by BAE Systems’ individual business sectors
Invited organizations should follow the instructions provided in their invitation
Organizations that have not been invited may still apply and may be considered through contingency budgets
All applications are reviewed based on alignment with mission areas, organizational health, and available resources
