Support for Economic Development, Leadership & Team-Based Community Service

Stiles supports nonprofit organizations whose work strengthens the economic vitality of the cities it serves, develops leadership, and creates meaningful opportunities for team-based community service. Giving and sponsorships are aligned to three clear funding priorities and emphasize collaboration, workforce leadership, and hands-on impact.

Support Type: Charitable giving, sponsorships, and in-kind support
Geographic Focus: Communities where Stiles operates
Application Timing: Rolling, with 90-day minimum lead time before events


About the Funder

Stiles is a commercial real estate firm with a long-standing commitment to community impact. Through a strategic philanthropic approach, Stiles partners with nonprofit and professional organizations to foster economic development, leadership growth, and collaborative service that benefits local communities and the broader business environment.


Funding Priorities

All requests must align with at least one of the following:

Building Collaborative Business Environments

  • Economic development initiatives in cities Stiles serves
  • Partnerships with business and community stakeholders
  • Support for large nonprofits and cultural institutions that drive economic opportunity
  • Projects leveraging public/private investment and collaboration

Leadership Development

  • Professional associations tied to Stiles’ industry or employee leadership growth
  • Civic and community initiatives that build career leadership skills
  • Speaking, panel, or industry-expert engagements

Team Building Community Service

  • One-day (“done-in-a-day”) projects
  • Team-building volunteer initiatives
  • Service projects aligned with Stiles’ funding priorities

Eligibility & Guidelines

Applicants must:

  • Be a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization
  • Submit requests at least 90 days prior to the event or activity
  • Complete the online Sponsorship Application
  • Upload a sponsorship proposal, W-9, and Board of Directors list
  • Submit all materials electronically

Ineligible Requests

Stiles does not support:

  • For-profit organizations or those without 501(c)(3)/(6) status
  • Organizations that discriminate on protected characteristics
  • Community or event advertising
  • Athletic sponsorships, scholarships, or recreational sports
  • Student trips or exchange programs
  • Telephone solicitations
  • Individuals
  • Federal or corporate employee campaigns

Application Process

Eligible organizations should complete Stiles’ online sponsorship application and submit all required documentation electronically.
