Stiles supports nonprofit organizations whose work strengthens communities, advances economic development, and builds leadership capacity in the regions it serves. Due to high demand, Stiles focuses its charitable support on initiatives that align with clearly defined funding priorities.

Funding Priorities

All proposed projects, programs, events, or in-kind requests must align with at least one of the following priorities:

Building Collaborative Business Environments

  • Promoting economic development in the cities Stiles serves
  • Partnering with businesses to address community needs
  • Supporting large nonprofits and cultural institutions that create economic opportunity
  • Leveraging public-private investment and community partnerships

Leadership Development

  • Professional associations related to Stiles’ industry
  • Programs that support leadership skill-building and career development
  • Civic and community initiatives that cultivate future leaders
  • Opportunities for Stiles team members to serve as speakers, panelists, or industry experts

Team Building Community Service

  • One-day (“done-in-a-day”) volunteer projects
  • Team-building initiatives
  • Volunteer opportunities aligned with Stiles’ funding priorities

Eligibility & Application Requirements

Stiles welcomes proposals from:

  • 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
  • 501(c)(6) nonprofit organizations

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Submit requests at least 90 days prior to the event or activity
  • Complete the Sponsorship Application
  • Upload the following with the application:
    • Sponsorship proposal
    • W-9
    • List of Board of Directors
  • Submit all materials electronically

Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.

Ineligible Requests

As a standard practice, Stiles does not support:

  • For-profit organizations or those without 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) status
  • Organizations that discriminate based on race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, or national origin
  • Community or event advertising
  • Athletic sponsorships or scholarships
  • Recreational, sporting, or athletic associations
  • Student trips or exchange programs
  • Telephone solicitations
  • Individuals
  • Federal or corporate employee campaigns

Due to limited funds, denial of a request does not reflect the value of the applicant’s mission or work.


Timeline & Review

📅 Submission Deadline: Minimum 90 days prior to event or activity
📅 Review Type: Competitive, based on alignment and available funds
📅 Funding Availability: Limited; funds may be fully allocated before year-end

  1. Confirm alignment with at least one funding priority
  2. Prepare required documentation and proposal
  3. Complete the online Sponsorship Application
  4. Submit all materials electronically at least 90 days in advance
