TAPCO Credit Union supports nonprofit organizations and community initiatives that align with its mission, values, and commitment to positive community impact. Through grants and sponsorships, TAPCO invests in programs that strengthen financial education, promote equity and inclusion, and advance people-, planet-, and prosperity-focused outcomes.
Organizations seeking funding must align with TAPCO’s defined focus areas and submit a complete application through the Grant & Sponsorship Request Form.

Grants & Sponsorship Focus Areas
To be considered for funding, requests must fall within one of the following primary focus areas:
- Adult & Youth Financial Literacy and General Education
Programs that build financial knowledge, skills, and lifelong learning opportunities. - People, Planet & Prosperity
Initiatives that support social wellbeing, environmental stewardship, and sustainable economic outcomes. - Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging & Accessibility (DEIBA)
Efforts that advance equity, inclusion, and access for historically underserved communities. - Community Social Programs
Programs that strengthen social connections, support basic needs, and improve overall community health.
Funding Preferences
Preference is given to requests that:
- Are located within TAPCO Credit Union’s market areas
- Reflect TAPCO’s Vision, Mission, and Values
- Address a recognized community need
- Provide benefit to the community at large
Ineligible Requests
TAPCO Credit Union does not fund:
- Religious organizations
- Political organizations
- Controversial organizations or causes
Application & Review Process
- Requests must be submitted at least 8 weeks prior to the event or funding need
- Applicants will be notified within 45 business days of approval or denial
- If approved, funding is typically fulfilled within 15–45 days of approval
- Applications must be completed in full; incomplete applications will not be reviewed
