Team One Credit Union – Community Sponsorship Program

2 Min Read

Focused Support for Causes That Strengthen Communities

Founded in 1935 as a Teachers Credit Union, Team One Credit Union is rooted in the mission of People Helping People. Through its Community Sponsorship Program, Team One provides targeted support to organizations and initiatives that address critical community needs and create meaningful, lasting impact.

Due to the high volume of requests received each year, Team One concentrates its sponsorships on a smaller set of focus areas to ensure deeper, more effective community investment.

Organization: Team One Credit Union
Support Type: Sponsorships
Geographic Focus: Communities served by Team One Credit Union

About the Funder

Team One Credit Union has a long-standing commitment to community wellbeing and service. By narrowing its sponsorship focus, the credit union aims to maximize impact and direct resources to causes that most closely align with its mission and values.

Sponsorship Focus Areas

To be considered for funding, requests must align with one or more of the following focus areas:

  • Children & Students – Programs and initiatives that support youth development, education, and wellbeing
  • Teachers – Efforts that uplift educators and strengthen educational environments
  • Veterans – Programs that support veterans and their families
  • Homelessness – Initiatives addressing housing instability and homelessness
  • Food Insecurity – Programs that improve access to food and address hunger

Application Guidelines

  • Requests must align with at least one of Team One Credit Union’s five focus areas
  • Sponsorship requests must be submitted at least 45 days before the desired funding date
  • Requests are reviewed by an internal committee
  • Applicants will be contacted if Team One Credit Union is able to sponsor the event, group, or cause

Due to limited resources, not all requests can be approved.

Application / Request Process

Organizations that meet the guidelines should submit a complete Sponsorship Request Form for consideration.
