Eligibility

Applicants must be:

  • 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or
  • Local government agencies
  • Serving one or more eligible Hartford County communities listed above

Application Requirements

Applicants will be asked to provide:

Grant Information

  • Project name
  • Requested grant amount
  • General purpose of the grant
  • Detailed proposal with objectives
  • Planned activities
  • Community benefits
  • Location and duration
  • Number of people affected (including impact on lower-income populations)

Organization Information

  • IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter (if applicable)
  • Board or leadership list
  • Organizational budget
  • Project-specific budget (quotes required for items $1,000+)
  • Other funding sources (past 18 months and pending)
  • Optional supporting documents (up to 3)

Timeline

  • Application Opens: April 1, 2026
  • Application Closes: April 30, 2026 (11:59 PM ET)
