Eligible Organizations
To be considered for funding, organizations must:
- Be a nonprofit organization with a human services or community-focused mission
- Operate within Union Bank’s service areas
- Demonstrate a clear benefit to local residents
- Submit a written request explaining the intended use of funds and community impact
Requests of $500 or more must be submitted using Union Bank’s Charitable Donation Request Form.
Ineligible Requests
Union Bank generally does not fund:
- Individuals or small groups raising funds for personal activities
- National or international organizations
- Political organizations, candidates, or causes
- Government entities (unless sponsoring eligible activities not funded by tax dollars)
- Religious organizations, unless projects benefit the broader community regardless of affiliation
- Organizations that discriminate based on protected characteristics
- Requests with unreasonably short lead times
- Duplicate requests within the same calendar year
- Activities not aligned with Union Bank’s mission, at its sole discretion
