About the Funder
United Cooperative is a member-owned agricultural cooperative serving farmers, families, and rural communities throughout south-central and eastern Wisconsin. Through its Community Giving Program, United Cooperative invests in local organizations that support agriculture, promote safety and wellbeing, and address essential community needs—particularly in the communities where the cooperative operates.

Support for programs that develop future agricultural leaders and strengthen rural communities, including:

- FFA chapters
- Dairy breakfasts and agricultural education events
Promoting Safe Communities
Support for organizations and initiatives that enhance public safety and emergency response, including:
- Police and fire departments
- EMS and first responders
- Community safety programs and events
Ending Hunger
Support for local efforts addressing food insecurity, including:
- Food pantries
- Hunger relief programs
- Community-based food access initiatives
Geographic Eligibility
United Cooperative prioritizes support for organizations located in or serving communities where the cooperative has a physical presence. Locations include communities in and around:
- Beaver Dam
- Denmark
- Friesland
- Johnson Creek
- Juneau
- Kaukauna
- Lomira
- Mayville
- Middleton
- Milton
- Randolph
- Reedsburg
- Sun Prairie
- Watertown
Applicants should clearly demonstrate a geographic connection to one or more of these communities or to United Cooperative’s broader rural trade territory.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for support, applicants must:
- Be an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
- Operate within United Cooperative’s service or trade territory
- Submit a complete application with all required fields
- Provide a valid Tax Identification Number and W-9 form
Ineligible Requests
United Cooperative does not provide support to:
- Individuals or individual benefit requests
- Religious organizations
- Political parties or political candidates
Incomplete or ineligible applications will not be reviewed.

Applications are submitted through United Cooperative’s online Community Giving request form. Applicants should note:
- The application does not save progress
- Requests are reviewed monthly
- Applicants should allow 4–6 weeks prior to an event date or payment deadline
Applicants will be asked to provide:
- Organizational mission and contact information
- Program or event details
- Donation amount requested and payment deadline
- How funds will be used
- Recognition or promotional opportunities for United Cooperative
