Memorabilia Donations for Washington, D.C. Area Nonprofits

The Washington Capitals are committed to making a positive impact beyond the ice by supporting local charities and nonprofit organizations through donations of Capitals memorabilia.

Due to the high volume of requests received, not all organizations can be supported. All applicants must carefully follow the established guidelines to be considered.

Eligibility & Submission Requirements

To be considered:

  • Your organization must be located in Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Virginia
  • Requests must be submitted at least six (6) weeks prior to the event date
  • The official online donation form must be completed in full
  • Requests submitted via email, fax, mail, or phone will not be considered
  • Do not call to check on status — all correspondence is handled via email
  • Submitting a request does not guarantee approval

It is recommended that events are not centered on the anticipation of receiving a donation item. Capitals memorabilia should serve as a complimentary enhancement to your event.


Important Notes

  • The Capitals use an entirely digital submission process
  • Do not mail or fax requests to team offices
  • All requests are subject to approval by the Washington Capitals Community Relations Office
