About the Funder

Washington State Bank (WSB) is committed to partnering with organizations that improve the communities where its customers and employees live and work. Through its Community Donation Request Program, WSB provides charitable financial support to nonprofit and community-based organizations that align with the bank’s giving mission and demonstrate meaningful local impact. Priority consideration is given to WSB customers, business relationships in good standing, and employee-connected organizations.

Washington State Bank targets its charitable giving in the following focus areas:

Support is intended for mission-aligned programs and initiatives that strengthen local communities and improve quality of life.

Eligible Organizations

To be considered for funding, organizations should:

  • Operate within the immediate areas served by Washington State Bank
  • Align with one or more of WSB’s giving priorities
  • Demonstrate a clear community benefit
  • Maintain good standing if they are a WSB customer or business partner

Ineligible Requests

Washington State Bank generally does not fund:

  • Religious, political, or fraternal organizations
  • Individuals
  • Trips or tours for individuals or groups, including transportation costs
  • Organizations operating outside WSB’s service areas
  • General operating or administrative expenses
  • Fundraising events not associated with a nonprofit organization or charitable cause

Washington State Bank does not publish standard award amounts. Donation levels vary based on:
