Important Eligibility Note
Amgen’s non-healthcare donation and sponsorship funding is made exclusively to organizations that are not members of the U.S. healthcare community.
Organizations that are part of the U.S. healthcare community should use Amgen’s separate healthcare donation process.
Invitation-Based Funding
Nearly all Amgen Charitable Donation and Sponsorship funding is made by invitation. Amgen states that it is only able to consider and fulfill a limited number of unsolicited requests each year.
Unsolicited requests are reviewed only periodically during the year, so applicants should plan well in advance.
Funding Amounts
Amgen does not publish a standard award amount for this program. Donation and sponsorship amounts likely vary based on the request type, geography served, charitable purpose, and available funding.
Timeline & Review
📅 Application Timing: Requests should be submitted at least 3 months before the required funding date
📅 Review Timing: Unsolicited requests are reviewed periodically during the year
📅 Late Requests: Requests submitted with less than 3 months of lead time may be reviewed at Amgen’s discretion, but a decision may not be made in time
