Grants Supporting Creative STEM Projects in Arizona K–12 Schools
The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and Honeywell are supporting outstanding STEM educators and education initiatives through the Futureshapers STEM Grants Program. During the 2026 season, the program will award 10 schools with $5,000 grants to help bring creative science, technology, engineering, or math projects to life.
At the end of the season, one school with a particularly innovative STEM idea will be selected to receive an additional $15,000 grant.

What This Program Supports
The Futureshapers STEM Grants Program supports creative science, technology, engineering, and math projects in Arizona schools.
Applicants are asked to describe:
A creative STEM program idea
How the requested funding will be spent
How the funding will improve STEM programming
How many students will benefit from the project
Projects may support classroom-based STEM learning, hands-on experiments, technology integration, engineering projects, math enrichment, robotics, science labs, or other school-based STEM initiatives.
Eligible Applicants
The program is open to Arizona schools that provide classes for any Kindergarten through 12th grade levels, including:
Arizona public schools
Arizona private schools
Arizona nonprofit charter schools
Applications may be submitted by:
Teachers
Coaches
School administrators
Authorized district representatives
Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of submission and must submit the application on behalf of an eligible Arizona school.
Only one application may be submitted per school.
Funding Amount
During the 2026 season, the program will award:
10 grants of $5,000 each to Arizona schools
One additional $15,000 grant at the end of the season for a particularly innovative STEM idea

Schools must apply through the online form on the Arizona Diamondbacks website. The application requires basic contact and school information, including district and school name.
Applicants must also submit an essay of up to 3,000 characters describing:
The school’s creative STEM program idea
How the requested funding will be used
How the grant will improve STEM programming
The number of students who will benefit
