The company views corporate philanthropy as a core part of how it does business, strengthening relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, neighbors, and community partners. Southwire’s charitable giving includes both monetary contributions and volunteer support, often combining financial resources with the time and talent of Southwire team members to increase community impact.

About the Funder

Southwire is a wire and cable manufacturer with a strong commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and corporate responsibility. Its charitable giving is aligned with the company’s broader sustainability tenets: Growing Green, Living Well, Giving Back, Doing Right, and Building Worth.

Southwire prioritizes organizations that reflect its values, benefit communities where its team members live and work, and create opportunities for employees to contribute both financially and through volunteer service.

What This Program Supports

Southwire focuses charitable giving on organizations and initiatives connected to one or more of the following areas:

Inclusion

Southwire supports initiatives that foster inclusion, create a sense of belonging, promote diverse perspectives, and recognize the talent and inherent value of all people.
