Opportunity Description: Arizona ECF Chapter
Arizona Chapter Grant making Committee (CGC) members are active in the community and ensure every grant
is worthy. All donations are from Arizona Boeing Employees and 100% of contributions are invested into the
community across Arizona. The Arizona CGC reviews grant requests every year. There is no guarantee an
organization will receive funds regardless of how many times we have given to that organization in the past. If

ECF focus areas
Arizona CGC funding categories include: Health, Education, Community Enrichment, and Social Services.
ECF funding criteria
1. Agencies must fall within the requirements of Section 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code and must also qualify
with the Internal Revenue Service as a Section 501(c)(3) organization.
2. 3. 4. 5. Agencies must be designated as a 501(c)(3) for at least three years prior to submitting a grant.
Agency must plan to use any provided funding to benefit only Arizona and Arizona communities.
Agencies may submit only one grant application per calendar year.
Agencies must re-apply for funding each year. The CGC makes no implication that any agency is guaranteed
funding from year to year.
6. 7. 8. Agencies must apply using Boeing’s online grant application. Hard copy submissions will not be accepted.
Update your agency’s contact information and login information as necessary each time you apply for a grant.
Proposal information should be specific to the requested grant (i.e.; # of people the requested project will serve,
not people the organization serves at large; financial information specific to local organization, not parent
organization). If your agency is part of a national organization, please submit financial documents reflecting your
local operations.
9. Grant proposals may be funded in full, in part, or declined. Keep in mind that the average funding amount of
successful grant proposals may be between $3,000 – $15,000.
10. There is no formal schedule requirement. An organization can reach out to request an invite throughout the year.
11. Agencies will be notified once funding decisions have been made.
